Patoka Lake Weather

Summers are usually warm and humid, perfect for swimming, boating, and otherwise enjoying the lake. This is definitely the most popular time of the year here.

Spring and Fall temperatures are moderate, although they can vary widely within the span of a week, and rain is always a possibility. However, these “shoulder seasons” offer great fishing, and bright green new growth, or amazingly beautiful fall colors. 

Winters are generally cold, though not extreme, and it doesn’t often turn snowy or icy here at Patoka Lake.
