The Nature Center offers a lot.

The nature center does a really good job of explaining the animals, geology, and plant life of the Patoka Lake area.

The Nature Center is the launching point to the Patoka Lake Hiking trail system. At the nature center you will find maps and information that will help you navigate the trails that start from the nature center.

The nature center is home to one of Indiana’s few Bald Eagles. The Bald Eagle got injured and now calls the Nature Center home.

April – October – Tuesday through Sunday 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

November – March – Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Closed on the following days:

– Thanksgiving Day

– Christmas Eve

– Christmas Day

– Easter Sunday

Occasionally the Nature Center may be closed because they are putting on a special program
